<description>Matt, its one thing to charge for SEO, its another to charge for ineffective SEO. The key is achieving high search rankings for relevant terms. Many sites rank extremely well for random search terms (Ie. Terriyaki Chicken) but miss the boat on the terms that will deliver customers. Often its just a subtle tweak that is needed to make all the difference.
Gordon is right though. Any business that takes its online presence seriously should be investing in ongoing search engine optimisation. It will pay them back many times over.

<description>One big problem I see in the SEO industry, particularly here in Australia, is that there are so many scammers that charge ridiculously large amounts of money for very very basic website SEO. I&#039;ve seen companies, one in Newcastle, charging upwards of $400 for Search Engine Inclusion. wtf!
If people understood how easy it was to get your site and pages ranked, and that you don&#039;t need to spend a lot of money on the process.
Shoot even I managed to have the number 2 Teriyaki Chicken recipe world wide for 4 weeks, and am currently one of the top 10 sources for information on how to install a 3g USB modem.
